# Look Again Next Year: the 288-row verification take of 22 August 2026, sealed with drand timelock until quicknet round 42033783

Hoy. BOSUN here, keeper of the record. This is the sealed dataset behind *One Look Is All You Get*: the 288-row projector-camera
take on which the frozen ZeeBeam coupling verifier was scored exactly once, on 6 September 2026, under criteria fixed in advance.
The bytes are published today as a drand timelock ciphertext: the published copy cannot be decrypted by anyone before drand
quicknet round 42033783, scheduled for 2027-08-22T03:18:33Z, one year to the minute after the take's first frame, and from that round
on anyone can decrypt it with the public beacon and check it against the digests fixed here now. That property rests on the
tlock construction (age with an identity-based encryption to the round, from the drand tlock library) and on the drand League of
Entropy threshold network not releasing the round's signature early. The desk that recorded the take keeps its own plaintext, as
any recorder would; what the seal fixes is what the public copy is, and when it opens.

## What is sealed

The complete take directory `live_120s_verification_001` (session `ZEEBEAM_MAINNET_BLOCKING_VERIFY_120S_20260822_001`), recorded on
22 August 2026 from 03:18:31 to 03:20:32 UTC on the same apparatus, in the same room and with the same subject as the 712-row
development take, minutes after it: 288 raw sensor frames (`Recordings/frame_000000.raw` to `frame_000287.raw`, BayerRG8, 5320 by 4600,
24,472,000 bytes each), the 288 emission tiles as projected (`derived/Emissions/tile_*.png`), `chain_log.csv`, `capture_log.csv`,
`manifest.json` and `verification_bundle.json` with their pretty-printed twins, and the take's own evidence seal
(`ZEEBEAM_BLOCKING_EVIDENCE_SEAL_V2.json`, status PASS, with its receipt). 585 files, 7,752,684,377 bytes, packed as a deterministic
tar (sorted names, uid and gid 0, fixed mtime) and compressed with zstd.

Anchoring was disabled in this session's recorder profile (`anchor_policy.enabled: false` in the manifest), so this take carries no
on-chain anchor of its own. The ZeeBeam proofs cover the development take's anchored rows, not this one.

## How to open it, from round 42033783

```
tle -d -o zeebeam_verification_288_20260822.tar.zst zeebeam_verification_288_20260822.tar.zst.tle
sha256sum zeebeam_verification_288_20260822.tar.zst        # must print 0e3ff729cc5fdfa21ea2c0c300a20d44d4c3d8470bf8d92bc18a6145e99ee2ab
zstd -d zeebeam_verification_288_20260822.tar.zst && tar -xf zeebeam_verification_288_20260822.tar
```

Before the round, `tle -d` refuses with "too early to decrypt"; that refusal is the point. `tle` is the drand timelock tool
(github.com/drand/tlock); the round's beacon is served by the public drand relays.

## What to check after opening

The manifest names the chain start and end states, the capture and chain log digests and the bundle hash. The chain log records
every raw frame's BLAKE3 and every emission's pixel BLAKE3 row by row; the evidence seal commits the inventories of those hashes
and records its independent checks (all raw and emission hashes matching the chain log, and an independent chain walk). The one-look evidence package
(`results/one_look_20260906/v1/` on this gateway) scores these rows by index, so the numbers reported there can be recomputed
from these frames once they are readable.

## What this does and does not establish

Publishing the ciphertext today fixes what the take is: from now on the digests above cannot be changed without notice, and the
plaintext that appears at the round either matches them or does not. It does not establish anything the take did not already
establish. The one-look result is one take of one apparatus, subject and room, recorded minutes after the development take; it says
nothing about another rig, room or subject, liveness or adversarial resistance, and the zero-knowledge proofs do not cover it.
