# Data-layer companion of the Dark Lantern package results/old_light_20260909

This prefix carries the large objects of the Dark Lantern package `results/old_light_20260909/` (github.com/poliebotics/dark-lantern,
*The Light of Other Days*: emission-recording correspondence in the April 2023 and December 2024 Truth Beam recordings). The
repository package is the document of record; its `README.md`, `RESULTS.md`, `CLAIM_BOUNDARY.md`, `AUDIT_TRAIL.md`, `HASHES.md`,
`FAQ.md`, `LARGE_FILES.md`, `PINS.json`, `REDACTION.md`, `REDACTION_LEDGER.tsv`, `LICENSE` and its two ledgers are copied here
under `repository_package_front_matter/` for convenience (the package ledger `SHA256SUMS` has SHA-256 `200b30be60aea0c9088f6444f11e16ebb75bb91733910d8bded3cff075e0f5fa`).

| directory | what |
|---|---|
| `armi/checkpoints/<arm>/` | the fourteen ARM-I and ARM-C checkpoints of the cross-configuration test (`latest.pt`, documented derivatives of the as-trained files: machine-path strings in the recorded arguments replaced, every tensor and state verified equal; both digests in `PINS.json`) with each run's training log, evaluation logs and loss history |
| `armi/per_row_scores/` | every per-row score array the ARM-I evaluations wrote (`<arm>.raw_<session>.npz`, the aligned-variant, control, trajectory and adaptation arrays, and the example arrays the contact sheets were drawn from) |
| `armi/logs/` | the run logs of the two rented machines (precache, arms, aligned variant, trajectory, controls, follow-up, adaptation, the channel-order diagnostic, the download and verification log) |
| `armi/evidence/` | the cropped copy of the public d2 preview frame 1300 the owner correction of 9 September was verified against (the full frame is `sessions/d2/derived/Recordings_previews/frame_001300.png` on this data layer) |
| `coupling/cache/` | the statistic desk's cached grids per session (`<session>.npz`: emission grids at both orientations, whole-frame and cropped recording grids at every grid size; `<session>.export75.npz` for the exporter-geometry variant), from which every score reproduces with the partner maps in the repository package |
| `coupling/previews/` | per-session preview images of the projected-region detection (recording with the fitted quad, temporal standard-deviation map, warped crop, emission at the chosen orientation) and the geometry-development overlays |
| `oldlight/records/` | the pix2pixHD desk's run records as pulled from the rented machine: every metrics, verifier, coupling and partner-map JSON, every contact sheet, top-half sheet and strip for the tails and the held-out sessions, the interim epoch-25 sheets, the mean training capture handed to the mean-prior model, the per-session thumbnails, the split records, the pix2pixHD options, loss logs and epoch markers, and the training, evaluation, preparation and bootstrap logs |
| `oldlight/kit_inputs/` | the 2023 URL list, digest list and manifest copies against which the pix2pixHD kit verified its downloads (the 2024 ones are small and are in the repository kit) |
| `oldlight/ci_summary.json` | a copy of the interval summary the pix2pixHD tables were rendered from (also in the repository package) |
| `supporting/data_look/` | the data-look desk's alignment atlas (one panel per session: the mean recording, brightened, with the fitted emission rectangle) and the by-era overlay |
| `repository_package_front_matter/` | copies of the repository package's front matter and ledgers |
| `_control/` | `MANIFEST.jsonl` (one JSON line per object: relative path, size, SHA-256, object key, content type), `SHA256SUMS` (its `sha256sum -c` form; a copy sits at the root), `RELEASE.json` |

Which ledger covers what, precisely. The objects under `repository_package_front_matter/` are byte-identical copies of the
repository package's files, which the repository's `SHA256SUMS` covers at their repository paths. Every other object of this
prefix, this `README.md` included, is covered only by `_control/MANIFEST.jsonl` and `_control/SHA256SUMS`, which list every
object this prefix serves except the controls. The SHA-256 digests of the manifest, of `_control/SHA256SUMS` and of `RELEASE.json`,
the object count and the byte total were frozen before upload and are published in the Dark Lantern repository's root `README.md`,
in the provenance paragraph for this package, and in the publication receipt kept with the release record; check a downloaded
manifest against that digest before trusting it. The checkpoint derivatives and the evidence crop are also pinned by digest in
the repository package's `PINS.json`.

What the images show. The contact sheets, strips, thumbnails and previews depict a masked participant in a recognisable indoor
setting (the bookshelf room); the evidence crop shows the same masked participant in CittaDel's wheelhouse. The participant wears a
full face covering; no unobscured face appears. These materials are not anonymised; identity may be inferred from clothing, movement
or context.

under its own terms on this data layer.
