Stand perfectly still, then slowly notice your own shadow as if it knows something you don't. Reach toward it once, then pull your hand back.

Qathal, hold both hands open in front of you and slowly close them around something invisible the size of a small bird. Listen to it for three seconds, then let it go upward.

**Call:** Qathal, still carrying the reshaped face from the words, slowly press your forehead to the projection where the palm was, close your eyes, and let your whole body sway like an unmixable dinghy on invisible tropics waves.

Listen to your shadow like it is giving directions through static. After a beat, take one precise sideways step and point silently to somewhere no one else can see.

Stand very still and slowly raise one hand as if feeling a wall no one else can see. When you find it, nod once to the camera like the wall just told you a secret.

Qathal, cup one hand near your ear and listen to the projector itself. Whatever it tells you, repeat one word of it back to the camera in a whisper.

**Call:** Qathal, still swaying, slowly fold the invisible bird's upward path back into your chest, then press both palms against the secret wall and let your whole body slide sideways along it as if the projection itself is pulling you into the direction your shadow pointed.

Turn slowly toward the place you pointed to before, as if it has moved behind you. Draw a small doorway in the air with one finger, open it with both hands, and lean in just enough to listen.

Qathal, step back from the wall and the doorway and just stand. Let your arms hang. Look directly into the camera for a slow count of five — no expression, no performance, just be seen.

**Call:** Qathal, having slid along the wall, arrive at the drawn doorway, step halfway through it, then turn back toward the camera and slowly mouth the second half of the phrase — “unmixable swerve obvious tropics” — while your hands perform opposite gecko and dinghy motions, one climbing, one rocking.

At the place where the wall and doorway meet, reach one arm into the air as if it goes much farther than it should. Slowly pull something impossibly heavy and invisible back into the room, then cradle it like you are not sure it wants to be here.

Qathal, find the invisible wall again and draw a small door in it with one finger. Open it just a crack, listen to whatever is on the other side, then close it gently and smooth the air flat.

Qathal, set the heavy invisible thing down carefully on the floor in front of you, kneel beside it, and place one hand on it like you're saying goodbye to an animal.

**Call:** Qathal, still half-through the doorway, let the heavy thing rest against the frame, look straight at the camera with no expression, and let the projector light slowly erase your silhouette until only the shadow remains — then have the shadow mouth the complete phrase back at you.

While cradling the impossible thing, realize it is trying to remember your face. Show it your face from three different angles, then gently set it down where the doorway was and bow to it like a guest.

Qathal, stand up. Shake out your hands and your shoulders like you've just come out of cold water. Then smile at the camera — a real one, not a performed one — and say your own name once, out loud.

**Call:** Qathal, let the shadow's final word fade, then step fully back into the room as yourself. Kneel with the heavy thing, place both palms on it as if sealing the phrase inside, rise slowly, and walk forward until your body becomes the only wall between the projector and the camera.

After the shadow finishes, kneel beside the invisible guest and listen to it hum. Let that hum slowly pull you upright by the forehead until you are standing and pointing toward the one direction it wants to go.

Qathal, smooth the air where the door was one more time, then knock on it from this side. After the second knock, listen with real concern.

Qathal, while you're standing there as the wall between projector and camera, hold up one hand flat in the light beam and watch your own palm catch the projection. Turn it slowly, like you're reading something written on it that only you can see.

**Call:** Qathal, now that you are the only wall, slowly open a seam down your center with both hands, let the projector light pour straight through the gap onto the camera, then step aside as yourself, look at the empty space where the heavy thing was, and simply say “thank you” out loud.

Qathal, watch your shadow until it teaches you one small gesture. Copy it exactly once, then place that gesture gently into the empty space where the heavy thing was.

Qathal, while you are the wall, slowly turn sideways until only a thin blade of projector light remains. Hold it open with one hand, invite the invisible guest through with the other, then seal it with a single nod.
